No, ‘equivalent’ means another recognised academic qualification (e.g. from a different country) that is 2.2.

If you need a student visa, you will probably need to give enough time to meet the conditions of your offer and submit all the necessary requirements in advance. If you leave it too late, you won’t likely hav enough time to apply for visa.

I meant undergraduate 2.2. in Nigeria is equivalent to a UK undergraduate 2.2.

Yes that’s true, but you have an HND so you can start from year 3. My cousin has an HND from kwara state university and she got admission to study finance in nottingham, a one year top-up course.

Yes, if you complete a top-up, you will be awarded a BA or BSc undergraduate degree.

Pre-masters is another option, but it might be more expensive I guess? You will first have to complete a year of pre-masters and then complete another year of masters which is 2 years in total, and the fee might be higher.
Whereas, a top-up is one year and only one year of tuition fees.
